New Roof at White Oak Library
In my last post, I alerted everyone that the White Oak Library re-opening would be a little delayed until early 2018. Many structural items needed to be addressed during the refresh project. One of those items is a new roof. The new roof won't be noticeable when you visit the library because of the type of roof that is on the building. Here's a picture:

Lots of roofing and heavy machinery were delivered to the library before the project began.
Roof work began on September 20, 2017. The old pieces of roofing were taken off and placed in a scoop type arm and then placed in large dumpsters.

Work is now finished in the parking lot. Handicap spaces are striped and signs were placed.
